Waikato U14 Teams 2017

The U14 and U15 Quadrangular Programs give an opportunity to our nominated players to represent their zone in a round robin tournament in September each year. The goal of these programs is to offer some additional player development to boys in the correct age groups and an opportunity to for further selection into the Waikato U14/U15 Representative Programs. The 4 Quadrangular Teams are selected after receiving nominations from schools and then by the respective coaches of these teams. Once the Quadrangular Tournament is completed, Waikato Rugby Union staff select a group of approximately 50 players to come into our U14 and U15 camps during the October school holidays. A final 24-man squad is then selected for both the U14’s and U15. They each play 1 match only against another Provincial Union team.
